Montgomery Ward Redevelopment
Acquired in 2000 from the then bankrupt Montgomery Wards, the complex consisted of 31 acres of land and 2.6 million square feet of neglected buildings. Working with a team of top consultants and architects, a development plan featuring 2,000+ new residential units, 1.5 million square feet of office and retail, landscaped parks, a half mile river walk and marina, was implemented, forever transforming the face of the River North neighborhood.
