Our Commitment

Centrum has been investing in the Southeast for over 20 years. However, in 2019, the firm made the strategic decision to put even greater focus on this region, with the goal of building a pipeline of development projects. Recognizing that local presence and “hands on” ownership has been a critical ingredient to prior successes, Larry Powers, a principal of the firm, committed to relocate to Charlotte and lead the firm’s growth in the southeast. Centrum has since opened an office in Charlotte and has acquired 9 properties in Charlotte and Nashville.

The properties consist of covered land, development land, and well positioned retail.The properties all share a common characteristic, they are infill sites, serving an affluent demographic, with immediate potential for redevelopment. With only 1 exception, the properties were all acquired off market and were targeted and pursued by Centrum. The acquired properties represent a portfolio of premium real estate in Charlotte and Nashville.
