Michael Slaven
Managing Partner
Michael Slaven has worked in real estate development since graduating from Miami University in 2004. He started working on large residential developments in South Florida, including the coordination of all pre-construction activities for 500 Ocean Plaza, a 342 mixed use development in Boynton Beach, Florida. In early 2007, Michael moved back to Chicago where he joined Centrum Partners’ neighborhood retail group, which primarily focused on single and multi-tenant developments such as Walgreens. Michael was a Vice President of Development where he oversaw the projects, including the construction, from start to finish. Michael successfully completed his first deal in Deerfield Beach, Florida which was a new construction Walgreens and PNC Bank. In 2013, Michael began buying and renovating small mixed-use and multi-family buildings in Chicago. A list of projects he has completed is as follows:
5058 N. Clark St. Chicago: Fully stabilized, new construction 4-story 6-unit building with 3,200 square feet of commercial space on the ground level.
2514-38 W. Addison St. Chicago: Fully stabilized, new construction apartment development consisting of 33 units in six buildings.
1760-62 N. Clark St, Chicago: 8-unit multifamily building in Lincoln Park that was gut rehabbed and is fully stabilized.
1852 W. North, Chicago: Mixed-use building with commercial on the ground level and an apartment above.
1837 W. North, Chicago: Mixed-use building with retail on the ground level and 3 apartments above.
1041-61 E. Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, Florida: Developed a Walgreens, PNC Bank, Taco Bell, and a small strip center with Jersey Mike’s and Sherwin Williams.
747 S. Federal Highway, Deerfield Beach, Florida: Developed an Aldi Supermarket (free standing) and a small strip center with Panera Bread and Chipotle.
3604 N. Campbell, Chicago: Developed a new-construction, four-story elevator building with twelve 3 bedroom 3/bath apartments, fitness center, and attached heated garage parking.
